Yves got his amateur radio license back in 1995, while studying at EPFL. He got a master degree in electrical engineering in 1999 and since then has always been working in the wireless industry. He worked on different projects of GPS, Bluetooth and other miniaturized radio communication systems. He develops antennas, RF front ends and transceivers systems. On the amateur radio side, he is mainly active (but not only!) on frequencies over 50 MHz, either from home or with the local clubs during contests, or building some equipment when times allows.
