IEEE Women in Engineering is the largest professional organization dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists. Their mission is to inspire, engage, encourage and empower women engineers worldwide. Their vision is to build a vibrant community of women and men innovating the world of tomorrow. IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) were invited to the Microsoft DigiGirlz Camp, and conducted a hands-on lesson called: "Ship the Chip." Students worked as teams of engineers evaluating materials, manufacturing, testing and final evaluation of their package design.
