This video introduces the CB (Computational Brain) 50 degrees of freedom humanoid robot for exploring the underlying processing of the human brain when dealing with the real world. A full-body compliance controller was developed for the motion control of the robot. Initial experimentation includes: physical interactions/balancing/motion control; the integrated visual ocular-motor responses; reaching, foveation, and active object recognition; and studies of Central Pattern Generator for walking.
