Cherif Amirat is a Global Senior Information Technology executive with experience providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing technology strategies and enabling solutions that drive value. His expertise and hands-on experience lie in in driving operations excellence while rationalizing budgets. He is currently the IEEE's CIO, providing leadership and support for a team of over 200 IT professionals.

Cherif also developed and teaches a course on “Information Technology Strategy” at Rutgers University Business School.
