A Message from the 2025 IEEE WIE Day Chair

The theme for this year's WIE Day is "Pioneering Safe Cyberspace: Women Bridging Technology and Light for Security." This theme highlights the crucial role women play in advancing cybersecurity and ensuring a safer digital world.

We encourage IEEE WIE Affinity Groups and IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Groups to organize events from June 23 to July 7 to celebrate this theme. These events can include workshops, panel discussions, hackathons, and more, all aimed at showcasing the contributions of women in technology and promoting cybersecurity awareness.
