The Brooklyn 5G Summit brings together wireless/mobile industry R&D leaders in business, government, and academia to explore the future of 5G wireless.

Nokia and the NYU WIRELESS research center at NYU Tandon School of Engineering jointly organize the Brooklyn 5G Summit, which just completed its fourth year.

The 2017 summit's theme was "How close is 5G to commercial reality?" and focused on overall 5G end-to-end system design across the entire spectrum range, 5G regulatory aspects and 5G pre-commercial systems. In addition, select start-up companies shared their work and use cases for 5G in the evolving Internet of Things (IoT) space.

Several years worth of Brooklyn 5G content is below. This annual forum discovers “what´s hot and what´s not”, and continues to find the best ways to take steps towards understanding and framing the world’s 5G wireless technology future.
