IEEE Globecom 2019
Themed “Revolutionizing Communications,” this flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society featured a comprehensive high-quality technical program including 13 symposia and a variety of tutorials and workshops. Co-moderators Peter Winzer, Nokia Bell Labs, along with Bill Tonti, IEEE, kick off IP-02 and IP-03 on the next ten years in roadmapping new applications and the technology drivers for network support of these applications. Rakesh Kumar, Technology Connexions, then introduces IEEE Roadmaps including strategy, governance, ongoing work, and the roadmaps committee.
